"Living in the moment" takes on a new meaning at the Mojave Moon Desert Ranch, where art, nature, and spirituality converge. The entrance is graced by "Transmission," an awe-inspiring installation by renowned artist Daniel Popper. Standing at 26ft tall, the goddess emerges from the desert floor with hands transmitting energy and light, reminding us to live in the present and appreciate the beauty around us. šµšæāļø
In each hand, the goddess holds a suspended stainless-steel crescent moon, symbolizing the cyclical nature of life and the cosmos. On her forehead is a crescent moon cutout, inviting us to stay mindful and observe the clouds in the desert sky dancing through the silhouette.
Commissioned by Morgan Brown, "Transmission" serves as a powerful reminder of our interconnectedness with each other and with nature. The intention is to inspire us to transmute love, peace, and unity, and this installation serves as a beacon of that intention. According to Mojave Moon Desert Ranch's Instagram, visitors can "enjoy Transmission from the viewing area that has been created," but "... step over the fence, you are trespassing."
